Entre o Riso e a Paixão
I was invited to illustrate a book about Natália Correia, written by the amazing Maria João Martins, part of the “Grandes Vidas Portuguesas” (Great Portuguese Lives) collection, published by Pato Lógico in partnership with Imprensa Nacional.
Known as the “hurricane woman”, Natália Correia was one of Portugal’s most remarkable 20th-century figures: poet, novelist, politician, and tireless advocate for freedom and human rights, especially women’s rights.
This was without a doubt one of the most challenging projects for me, bringing to life the story of a woman who still inspires us all.
